Cide comes from Latin roots, which means cut or kill. The word decision or decide means “to cut off”; in other words, to “kill” the other options.
This realization made me think that for me to move forward, I have to kill other options. Killing other options makes me more committed to moving forward. It eliminates distractions. It inspires me to be focused on what is ahead of me.
My question for you today. What decision should you make today?
Make that critical decision and move forward, stop distracting yourself. Robert Brault has said, "We are kept from our goal, not by obstacles, but by a clear path to a lesser goal."
Stop being distracted by lesser goals, and do the work.
