In the last six months, we transitioned from an effort economy to a result economy.
We stopped measuring the time spent at the office, and we started to measure results. For a long time, corporations asked their staff to show up at 8 and leave at 5. This pandemic shifted businesses' perspective of what it means to show up to work.
Employees are asking for more freedom, and organizations are asking for better results.
Can we find a balance between the two?
