Stand Straight with your Shoulders Back
Jordan Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist argues that poor posture impacts your chances of winning in life. He examined how lobsters engage in dominance rituals and the lobster who wins gains a better position in the social hierarchy. The winner will have better access to better mating, more food, bigger shelters, and everyone's respect. He also noticed that lobsters who have an upright posture have better chances of winning. This can be caused by the amount of serotonin in their bodies. The same thing can be said about humans.
Standing straight unleashes neurochemicals into your brain that make you feel better about yourself. People who have poor postures experience serotonin deficiency which leads to depression, irritability, and obsessive behavior. Slumping around will send a message to everyone that you feel defeated, and signal low status to other people. When people smell weakness, they will abuse and use you to get to their goals.
Start standing straight and start winning.
